I am a graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. I am of the Class of 2017 and have a Masters Degree in Architecture, as well as a Minor in Fine Arts. I was involved with various organizations while at Drury such as the Art of Space Organization which created temporary art installations all over the City of Springfield, Missouri. I also participated in the Solar Decathlon competition in which the Hammons School of Architecture and Crowder College were partners in designing and building a solar powered home which was taken to California to compete against other schools from around the world. Bringing people together to enjoy the exhibitions while they lasted was a large influence on myself and showed me the transformative power of architecture in community building.
In my time out of school I have grown in my abilities as a team member and participant of the architecture community. I have worked on various projects that began from design and client relations to construction document phase. These have given me better abilities to contribute to an architecture team. Architecture is my passion and I look forward to continuing in the profession.
