At CBT, Prateek worked with the urban design team on a variety of projects around the world.
Prateek's responsibilities included:
• Updating drawing sets and creating sheets for consultant coordination
• Rendering perspectives and architectural drawings through Rhino, SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proposing master plan design concepts along with research and precedent study.
• Conducting due diligence and creating summary maps, diagrams, and marketing materials for projects ranging from 20 to 160 acres.
In addition to working in the project team setting, Prateek was also a part of the CBT Summer Internship Research Project in which he worked closely with the other interns in the office to create, curate, and design an exhibition that was presented to the entire firm at the conclusion of the internship period. Prateek's project focused on the future of urban mobility and transportation.
Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA), Ithaca, NY, US, Arts and Design Intern
At CCA, Prateek worked directly with the Director to provide a platform for the creation of and public discourse on the contemporary arts on campus.
Prateek's responsibilities included:
• Generating new ideas for designing display spaces and curating creative works.
• Undertaking graphic design projects.
• Collaborating with the co-coordinator for installations, material design and documentation.
Rath Architectonic, Bhubaneswar, IN, Architecture Intern
At Rath Architectonic, which is an architectural and project management firm, Prateek worked in the Higher Education/Universities studio.
Prateek's responsibilities included:
• Producing project analysis drawings and diagrams.
• Creating client meeting presentations, illustrations and videos.
• Assisting the 3d modelling team in making Rhino models.
• Attending project management meetings on site to understand the progress of projects.
