Leonardo Buendia is a registered Architect in California and Mexico. He graduated in 2000 with honours from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and in 2007, after working for offices in both Mexico and Southern California moved to London to complete a Master of Science on Advanced Architectural Studies from the University of London, UCL, Bartlett School of Graduate Studies.

Mr. Buendia has 16+ years international experience working on a wide range of projects that vary in both size and complexity. Leonardo’s experience includes higher education, mixed use, corporate & commercial and multifamily projects, most notable is recently completed Annenberg Building for the School of Communications - University of Southern California in which, among other things, he was lead Architect in the development and coordination of building envelope; and Park House Building, located along Oxford Street in the city of London which houses retail, office space and high end condominium units, involvement included scheme testing, 1:1 mock-up models, product research, design development and coordination of a double curved roof envelope.

Mr. Buendia joined Foster + Partners in 2014 to work on Apple Campus 2 in Cupertino, CA as Lead Project Architect for Phase 2, which includes a four story Office Building with one level basement parking, two stories R&D Facilities as well as a two story Communications Building. As part of the site team, Mr. Buendia is responsible for coordinating the multiple aspects of project development, construction documentation and construction administration which include, client presentations, bid documentation, site meetings, site observation reports, RFI and submittal review as well as assisting Client with project close out procedures.
