About

I am an urbanist, architect, researcher and a community activist, whose interest lies in designing and researching about public spaces and processes that inculcate social and economic justice values in them. I co-founded Nigraan-e-Lahore with my peers aimed at initiating participatory form of development for marginalized communities after graduating from architecture school in Lahore. I have worked with two architecture firms and have experience in working on a single family house to large scale commercial designs. During my time at Parsons I assisted with two courses, Urban Colloquium &  Urban Resilience, while developing my thesis, a meshwork of urban narratives that enable a community to revisit its identity and build upon its social ties and resources, as a form of resilience in the face of globalizing economies.
