Japan and China,
• Managed and mentored a creative team of two junior designers.
• Designed and launched new store design concepts globally in more than
90 countries for Guess, Guess Factory, Guess kids, G by Guess and
Marciano that reflected the new company’s business strategies.
• Developed guidelines, set standards, and created tools for store planning
teams and international partners to effectively communicate the concept
updates based on new company’s initiatives and strategies
• Worked closely with visual, buying and operations teams to fulfill their
demands and follow their business plan for a more functional and effective
design.
• Coordinated with procurement and different vendors such lighting, fixtures
and FF&E in reviewing and approving drawings, samples, prototypes and
finding value engineered solutions to keep the project within budget without
scarifying the overall aesthetic.
• Maintained internal sample library of all global approved finishes and
specification information as well as source new materials and vendors to
supplement company product.
• Visited stores nationally and internationally to ensure execution was held to
companies standards and brand identity were maintained.

• Responsible for managing, space planning, and design approx. 200 Shop
in shops and free-standing stores for 3 different brands (Marciano, Guess
Accessories and Kids) in North America, South America, Asia, Australia
and South Africa.
• Developed new architectural and fixtures ideas in 2D and 3D incorporating
merchandising and operational needs into new design solutions.
• Created fixture shop drawings considering design integrity, cost and safety
standards for assigned projects
• Involved in all aspect of design from schematic to in-store installation of
new stores, remodels, retrofits and Rollouts
• Reviewed Architectural and MEP construction drawings to ensure stores
where built per brand’s concept standards.
• Worked with construction project managers on site to punch completed
stores and turn over to visual and operations teams
• Produced specially tailored wholesale concept guidelines for department
stores such as Macy’s and the Bay to ensure brand integrity and managed
the reviews and approvals of these
• Responsible for keeping and maintaining International store tracking schedule
to ensure deadlines where met.
