My name is Xin Ma.I am an interior architecture student from RISD with more than three years’ professional experience.

Previously I worked in Kengo Kuma & Associates for 1.5 years, UA (Urban Architecture Design Co., Ltd ),top 5 of China's privately-owned design enterprise for 2 years after graduating from the the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning Chongqing University which is top 6 of architecture school in China in 2013. I have involved in various scales and functions, covering the range from urban design to interior design, working alongside both multi‐cultural and local team members, which not only enhance both of my design and technical skills, but also build up my independence to carry projects from concept to design development stage .

The experience of MA program at RISD allows me to design from the perspective of from inside out way was the point of departure. It often feel like if I have become the object and subject of designing. Through the practice of past years, I accumulated certain amount of practicing and researching experiences. All these interests and experiences, in return, strengthened my aspiration to become an excellent architect, who can leave something artistic to the world.

Currently, I am seeking for new challenge in both of my career and personal growth and contribute my skills at the same time. With my experiences of working , different project types, stages and scales, I believe my abilities would prove to be an asset for your company and I can adapt to it quickly.
