I possess more than 2 years of progressive experience in the Interior Design and Architectural fields. My professional history includes positions such as Interior Designer and Drafter at Minotti Los Angeles as well as MASS Beverly.
Most recently, at Minotti Los Angeles my responsibilities as Interior Designer and Drafter included Spreadsheet Management, Sales Assistance, Presentation Development, CAD drafting and 3D Modelling through Sketch Up. I assisted on numerous residential projects and being one of them, the successful completion of 1415 Devlin Drive by Williams & Williams Estates. My supervisor also relied on my ability to find and propose new and more effective ways to organize our file system that led into the creation of a Product Library for the company.

As I started working at Minotti Los Angeles, I have been in charge to start, review and complete furniture layouts for a Potential Project. This task included to understand and know all the Furniture Collections throughout the different brands that we represent. Once the different pieces were selected, I placed different configurations and arrangements in Blueprint format, until approval. Once finished, my new task was to come up with a Graphic Proposal including the blueprints of each room, along with pictures and technical drawings of each element in the furniture for the client’s review and approval.
I also have been drawing the blueprints for existing rooms from clients that need new configurations of furniture layouts throughout their homes. They come with plan views in PDF format, so I can redraw them and convert them into CAD file with the purpose of making the selection of furniture much efficient and precise.

I would do the design of Bathrooms, fixed furniture as Mill-work and Cabinetry, along with Furniture Plans. I would present them to clients or potential clients for final approval, to show what is important for the company in terms of aesthetics and design. This knowledge would come with the understanding of all the furniture that the company provides and as a drafter it is very important for me to review all the technicalities of each piece regarding lengths, heights, finishes and compositions from different collections to provide a correct layout. I would present the proposal with a Graphic Presentation and Finishes Boards. I would be in charge of the quoting through spreadsheets than needed to be presented to the clients and after approval, all invoices needed to be created.
