I’m Claire Zee. 

Where am I from? Ironically, that question is one I’ve often found most difficult to answer. "Nowhere and everywhere all at once", is my best answer. Some might refer to me as a third culture kid, or maybe a nomad, but I like to consider myself to be a citizen of the world.  Being half French and half Singaporean, I grew up moving around every few years, both within and outside of the United States. My experiences living overseas allowed me to travel to some of the most aesthetically pleasing and design-oriented places in the world. As a result, I developed an affinity for creativity and design. 

My style is constantly evolving, as it is highly influenced by the multi-cultural background I come from, and those I continue to seek out. I have always had a passion for interior design, whether it was spending hours in my room rearranging my furniture and things, or admiring the luxurious aesthetic of the beautiful hotels I was lucky enough to stay at. I take particular interest in the way in which people decorate their homes, according to their own cultures, lives, and personalities, and want to help my clients achieve a space that they not only love and feel great in, but that also represents them.

I truly believe that interior design is a way of story-telling. To me, successful interior design should not only be beautiful and functional, but also a reflection of those who inhabit a space. I love getting to know my clients on a deeper, more personal level, and to be able to understand their lives, their loves, their cultures, and their stories. Everyone deserves a space that inspires.
