Hi Sir/Mrs

I'm an us citizen, with an BArch in Architecture. I have a total of 4 years 6 months of experience (3 years and 2 months in NYC) and I'm on my path to get my license in NYC.

I’m currently working at SWA ARCHITECTURE, doing:

• Job Captain responsible to work with senior designers in all phases including Schematic Design, Design Development & Construction Documents through Construction.

• Prepare filing drawings, including but not limited to Alt Type 1 & 2 for residential and commercial projects.

• Prepare presentation drawings including façade details for Landmarks, staff and full hearing filings.

• Correspond and manage consultants as needed to coordinate filing and construction drawings.

• Assist in Construction Administration producing details, reviewing shop drawings, Submittals & RFIs, as well as attending weekly construction site visits to produce minutes and progress reports.

• Responsible for managing drawings and project progress and provide status updates to senior staff and ownership.

I worked also for BD Architecture, doing:

• Prepare filing drawings and required forms to include residential, commercial and multiple dwelling projects for Alteration Type 1 & 2 applications including superseding and violation removal.

• Produce presentations, required drawings, application forms and correspond with LPC to obtain approval.

• Prepare schematic floor plans in accordance with all local codes to be presented for ownership approval.

• Work with senior staff to prepare details, enlarged elevations and finish schedules.

• Organize and manage project archives, electronic and paper, per office standard.

• Prepare 3D presentations using various software programs.

I worked also at Ar.De.Sc Architecture doing:

• Assist principal in drafting, developing 3D models, and preparing presentations for various Architectural Competitions: Student housing (Sfax, Tunisia), Middle school (Kairouan Tunisia), Commercial center (Tunis, Tunisia).

• Prepare various Schemes for various residential and interior design projects, develop 3D model, prepare presentations and filing drawings.

I use several software, some of them 

• Proficient level: AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Sketchup, Artlantis, lumion ….
• Basic level: Revit, Vray Sketchup…

I consider my self a person who like enjoy challenges, independent, self starter, enjoy to work in a team, can handle stress, and always looking to improve my skills.

I'm interested in a position where I can keep improving my skills as an architect (Design, management, code knowledge ...) while I'm pursuing my license as an architect in NY state.
