I enjoy the tools and methods used in the study and practice of architecture as well as the opportunity to communicate through drawing and modeling in their various forms. I believe architecture is as much about building relationships as it is about building buildings.

Review from judge: "Two softball fields with dugouts, storage areas and pressboxes set lovingly in a mountain landscape. Recreation buildings are often afterthoughts. Here the architect has elevated a utilitarian building type to an uncommon state of grace. Who wouldn’t want to attend a twilight ball game in this luminous setting?"
