About

As an Advanced Architectural Design graduate from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and with the B. Arch at Pratt Institute, and four years of art education experiences, I am confident that I have the knowledge and experience necessary to be a successful and valuable addition to your firm.

Before attending Columbia University and Pratt Institute, I spent four years working as an art teacher with several academic institutes in Seoul and studied painting for five semesters. As a part of teaching staff, I taught hand drawing, related diverse mediums and basic skills to students. I also learned the way to communicate with students and colleagues and collaborate with them. I am skilled at hand drawing and conceptual drawing to represent the Architecture project efficiently. My strong background helps convey ideas in presentation visually and efficiently in architecture. For example, all approaches to GSAPP academic works dealt with different color range and research to convey strong ideas.  I have prepared, developed software program skills such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and Adobe programs. I also currently hold LEED GA and I am preparing for LEED AP credential. Additionally, I’m an open and flexible individual who is willing to try new design methods. I am ready to adopt to new circumstances and to listen to the counsel of team members.

I am currently on optional practical training period. If I have an opportunity to work with you, I hope to make significant contributions to the growth and success of your firm. The accompanying resume and portfolio provide additional details of my accomplishments and potential of which I am capable of contributing to the goal of your company. I appreciate your time and consideration, and I look forward to further discussing the architectural designer I position.
