Algiers 20XX International Ideas Competition, 2nd Place
Won 2nd place for my project titled the 'Superliminal Matrix.' The competition challenged participants to develop furutist interventions in the Bay of Algiers. The competition involved participants from 56 countries as well as a distinguished panel of architects and urban thinkers including Rem Koolhaas and Saskia Sassen.
Nature Conservancy "Elegram" Initiative, 1st Place
Art work selected by the Nature Conservancy as the face of their "#elegram" initiative, aimed at raising $150,000 to halt the poaching crisis. A copy of the painting was given to the First Lady of Kenya.
Structures Competition, 1st Place
Awarded for designing an architectural model that could withstand simulated seismic forces. The model was the only structure to withstand testing.
Hult Prize Campus Finalist, Other
With a team of students, pitched a mobile school designed to benefit children in urban slums - BoxEd. The proposal sought to bridge the achievement gap by providing early childhood education to children from 0 - 6 years old.
