About

A love for plants and creating art has always been a part of who I am. My undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from New York University set the stage for an interest in landscape architecture. It was in New York that I became fascinated with how the wild interfaces with the urban environment. I am interested in how we can mimic natural processes to design cities that improve upon environmental issues and increase people’s quality of life.

As a student of Ayerveda and Yoga, I am also passionate about the healing and meditative benefits of nature and built landscapes.

Ilse Crawford, the esteemed interior designer, said: “Design is a skill to enhance our humanity.” I believe in this statement, and understand it to mean more than the human connection, but also altruism towards other living beings and our planet.
