Jiantong Gao is an architectural designer and interactive designer who focuses on using the architectural thinking in interactive designs.
In the summer of 2017, Jiantong received his master degree from UCLA M.Arch II Program led by Mark Mack, Which is an advanced architecture studio aims to discuss the relationship between architecture and performance art. Jiantong Gao has received his B.Arch degree from Xiamen University in 2016.
As a little child, he showed great interest in art and performance, including Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, dancing and playing guitar and keyboard. During the five year’s traditional architecture education, he tried to figure out the relationship between architecture and art. This led him to take part in the internship working for a company called the DO UNION which based in Beijing and focus on the architecture design and art exhibition.
