I am a trained architect and in the past few years I have gained the experience in leading projects of the following categories - single family homes, housings, hospitality and private offices. I am skilled at handling projects with complete responsibility of all stages including - formation of brief with client, concept & design development, working drawings, coordination with consultants and delivering final construction set on site. I am also interested in designing healthcare, institutional and housing projects in greater detail. I am highly motivated, hard working and really interested to know if there is a position available for an architect.  

Software skills: AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, MIcrosoft Office and basic Revit

Also work as a freelance writer. Have written for architecture journals in India and overseas including - INTACH(non-profit NGO), Architecture+Design, Indian Architect & Builder and Design Today. Currently, I regularly write for FuturArc(bimonthly Asian journal) and India Art n Design(online design platform) on subjects related to architecture and heritage.

Worked as a senior architect on residential, commercial & hospitality projects of varied scales in different cities in India. During this time, I gained the experience in leading projects with complete responsibility of all stages including - formation of brief with client, concept & design development, working drawings, coordination with consultants and delivering final construction set on site. Aside from architecture & interior services, developed company’s website, stationary and media coverage.

Responsibilities included:
1.1 carrying out planning and elevation studies in sketches and 3-d renderings to finalise a design

1.4 client’s approval, regular amendments and preparing final presentations

INTACH, Delhi Chapter, New Delhi, IN, Project Coordinator

Worked as a project coordinator & writer with a heritage conservation non-profit NGO after working on freelance assignments for them for one year. As the project lead, generated content and coordinated a publication ‘Delhi: 20 Heritage Walks’ that attempts to link the monuments in Delhi along a specific ‘heritage route’. In addition to contributing content along with other writers, I was responsible for coordinating the publication with editors, writers, graphic designer, visual content consultants & the distributor. Alongside, worked on a supporting publication, a set of 18 walk foldouts on heritage sites in Delhi.

As part of nominating Delhi to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Cities, I worked on research and content generation for the nomination dossier, ‘Delhi: A Heritage City’. As part of the same cause, was involved in organizing seminars, school campaigns & heritage walks along with developing a website as a support to the dossier for encrypting Delhi to UNESCO’s list.
