I am a recent graduate of The Ohio State University Knowlton School of Architecture where I earned both my Master of Architecture (2017) and my B.S. in Architecture (2015).
I was one of four students invited to participate in a SOM Women in Architecture Leadership Initiative where I learned about women in the workplace and how a firm as large as SOM operates on a day to day basis. I returned to New York that summer for an internship with Gensler, as a member of their digital design and digital fabrication team as an expert Rhino 3D modeler. At Gensler, I was able to work with a variety of studios and help out in the design process with projects as small as an interactive wall design, to as large as the design of entire buildings.
Currently, I am working for HOK in their Columbus office where I do construction admin for two McGraw Hill Education renovations in Columbus and help the Chicago office with healthcare designs.
In addition, I have a strong writing background, and was the News Intern for ArchDaily from January-June 2016. While at ArchDaily, I published 95 news articles and two freelance editorial pieces.
