I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) - where I have studied since 2013. From my CV, you will see that I have acquired progressive experience spanning all facets of structural engineering, necessitating strong research and analysis skills, underpinned by an ability to engage with people at all levels.
Throughout my career, I have enjoyed success in a variety of areas – an example of which being in my ongoing Ph.D. research where I have scrutinised areas of historic timber structure with a focus on assessment and structural analysis, roof structure analysis, joints performances, and damages / repair works. During this period, I enjoyed two years’ teaching experience following success completing structural and seismic analysis of constructions in concrete, steel, and masonry.
