I am a recent graduate of Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture at the University of Colorado Boulder. I received my minor in Business with an emphasis in Financial Analytics and had the amazing opportunity of studying abroad in Rome, Italy for 5 months during my Junior year. I plan to pursue a career in Architectural Design and have a goal of completing licensure to become a professionally licensed architect.
As a senior, I was Secretary and Treasurer of CU's AIAS chapter and a Peer Mentor in Environmental Design. Previous leadership experience includes Vice President of my DECA chapter and Captain of my tennis team for four years.
I am a Colorado native with a passion for the environment. I am a hard-working individual with a drive to better our planet through design. I challenge myself to be better personally and as a member of society on a daily basis. I am familiar with the unexpected challenges that life may throw at you, however, my dedication and optimism prevail and always help me succeed. I have been an active member in various sports and clubs through my life and understand the importance of team work and communication. My communication skills and open-mindedness help me be a strong leader and mentor and I am not afraid of a challenge.

ACCENT Study Abroad Center of Rome, Rome, Italy, History and Theory of Architecture and Arts
During the Spring of my Junior year, I was honored to spend a semester abroad, based in Rome, Italy. As an architecture student, there is no better place in the world for me to experience the heart of architecture than Rome. While abroad, I took various courses introducing me to the Italian and European culture and history. I had the privilege to visit a total of 11 countries while abroad and spent time traveling solo, an exhilarating and life-changing opportunity.
Study abroad opened my eyes to how big our world is and how different every country is in culture, politics, and community. My experience has taught me to be a more open-minded person who values input from everyone in every situation. Navigating the world in unfamiliar territory was a challenge unlike any other, and taught me how to be observant, flexible, and openly communicative with others even with obstacles such as language barriers.
