Amanda guides civic, academic, and cultural institutions throughout the planning and design process. From preparing detailed space programs to developing comprehensive master plans, she translates an institution’s goals and objectives into a physical framework for implementation. Specifically focused on libraries and the arts, her training in interior design gives her a unique approach in shaping and giving character to cultural and civic interior spaces. Her sophisticated yet practical sense of material, detail, and color highlight the characteristics that make each space reflective of its location and culture as well as supportive of its pragmatic uses. A certified NCIDQ interior designer, Amanda actively participates in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and volunteers extensively for the Council for Interior Design Qualifications (CIDQ). She is also a member of the American Library Association (ALA) and the Public Library Association (PLA).
