I am a recent graduate with a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Florida, where I invested the past year exploring the relationship between speculative drawings derived from a landscape, and experimenting with materials as a method for developing architecture that intervenes in a vast site without losing the essence of the early drawings that originates them.
I am interested in architecture that redefines, and pushes the boundaries between architecture and landscape, creating a sense of place at the service of the community it serves. I have a passion for architecture that is fully integrated with its site, and that is sensitive to the environment it sits in. In my academic projects, I have continuously explored how thin and blurry the line between a building and its site can be, and what a building can give back to the community through its connection to the ground.

Gresham Smith, Jacksonville, FL, US, Architectural Summer Intern
As an intern in the healthcare studio I worked on different phases of three different scale projects. I worked on construction documents for a 7-story hospital tower, mainly on the exterior wall sections and details as instructed by lead architect. I also worked on the schematic design of a new outpatient surgery center, as well as for a small rural clinic. I also assisted the interior design team with presentation graphics for a proposed interior remodel of a large hospital’s, with the intent of enhancing the way finding throughout their corridors.
Vermey Architect, Jacksonville Beach, FL, US, Architectural Summer Intern
I worked directly with the Senior Architect assisting with commercial building design. I sat in client meetings to discuss space planning needs. With the Architect’s guidance, I generated sets of construction documents for commercial projects ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. tenant spaces up to a three-story 20,000 sq. ft. commercial building. Researched and helped with the implementation applicable code references and zoning requirements for pre-engineered buildings, restaurant tenant spaces, residential additions, and small medical offices.
