Xincheng Ye (yexincheng@g.ucla.edu) is a junior architectural designer. He received several fellowships, awards and honors including Outstanding Graduates in Shanghai, National Endeavor Fellowship and 2nd Scholarship of Tongji University (3 times). Mr. Ye was sponsored by CSC (China Scholarship Council) and visited TUM (Technical University of Munich) for graduate design in 2016. Until now, Mr. Ye was involved in a range of research including New Urbanism in Chinese Context led by Younghe Chang (Jury of Pritzker Architecture Prize), Autonomous Tectonics (Digital Architecture Design Association) and Concrete Canoe (College of Civil Engineering, Tongji University). His research interests focuses on the field of urban design, architecture fabrication and the advanced technologies as robotic, virtual reality and augment reality in architecture. In addition to academic research, he is now assisting an architecture in Los Angeles in designing and worked as an internship and associated designer in firms as Tongji Architectural Design (group) co. ltd (TJAD) and Zhuye Architecture studio accordingly to participate in architecture practice. In serving these positions, Mr. Ye’s responsibilities contains site analysis, architectural concept designing, making physical models and drawing construction documents. Xincheng Ye hold March II (Suprastudio) degree at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles and Barch degree in Architecture from the Tongji University, Shanghai.
