About

I am an Australian trained Architect, Interior Designer, and Columnist with 18 years of local and overseas experience. I have designed projects that range from Aged Care housing to large format Retail/Commercial Architecture to Boutique Hotels, and master planning in Residential Projects and Hospitality Projects like standalone Restaurants. One of my most reputed projects has been the Solarus Apartments in Townsville, Queensland (while working with PCA Architects) - listed as one of the tallest buildings in Townsville.

I have a double degree in Architecture from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Brisbane, with thesis on ‘Housing for Elderly’ - specialising in design practice for nursing homes and hospitals. I design documented 36 independent living units of a 120-unit residential aged care housing project in Bundaberg, Queensland. I also worked on similar projects for The Uniting Church, Blue Care Nursing and Salvation Army.

Following this, I worked on the design and documentation of large format retail stores like Big W, Coles and Woolworths, while at Thomson Adsett Architects in Brisbane. I have also worked on Luxury low-rise and mid-rise Residential and Serviced apartment projects at PCA Architects, Brisbane.

In 2008, I establish my design studio - Office of International Architecture (OFIA) in India. With offices in New Delhi and Goa, OFIA is renowned as a design centric practice famous for its innovative use of material and attention to detail.

Being recognised as an accomplished industry expert, I have been interviewed and invited to write for several publications like Homify (Germany), Houzz, Archello (The Netherlands and Canada), The Times of India, Franchise India, Restaurant India and Magic Bricks. In addition to this, I have collaborated with Udaan, a Delhi-based NGO to design the event space for their annual festival, Udaan Utsav 2018, which received participation from 3,000 students and was attended by more than 50,000 people.
