About

I believe in the ability of architecture, design and research to bring a significant change in human’s life. I have been blessed and challenged to work, study and experience unique environments such as the post-communist Bucharest-Romania and the Islamic-modern Istanbul, Turkey, where the role of the architect  proved crucial in these two unstructured contexts on search to redefine their identity.

I am eager to embrace  unique design challenges of every project and respond with creative and inspired solutions for your clients.

I am seeking to create comfortable and responsible environments that respond to people‘s actual needs.

The research conducted throughout the Master Thesis aims to assess households’ meaning of home in communist-era flats- Romania using as body of evidence in-depth interviews and on site observations. Results show that the communist housing estates are indeed homes rather than dwellings for all those interviewed. The study contributes to an international scholarship about countries belonging to former Eastern Bloc, which are, most of the time, underrepresented in housing research.
