About 

My experience is rooted in the technical aspects of architecture. I’m self-motivated and enjoy tackling the challenges of delivering a cohesive project that surpasses client expectations within budget while meeting key milestones. I thrive in fast paced environments, work well on a team, and believe that communication is key to the success and development of innovative design that shapes our future. I have a passion for sustainable design and am always looking for ways to develop that knowledge base.

In this position I coordinate with clients and consultants on a daily basis. My primary projects at the moment are under construction so I am managing the construction administration phase on two projects, both of which I started at design development and worked on the complete set of construction drawings as well as permitting documents.

Duties include working with client expectations beginning with design development, city planning review and permitting, construction documents (Revit), coordinating consultant drawings, working through the value-engineering process, and construction administration.

Gensler, Houston, TX, US, Technical Designer

This position involved work from design development through constructions drawings (Revit), permitting, and construction administration. My primary project at this time was a $50 million boutique hotel in downtown Houston. This project demanded close coordination with consultants to meet a demanding timeline. I participated in and led weekly coordination meetings with ownership, MEP & structural engineers, and the interior architecture firm.

I simultaneously managed up to 60 small scale cellular projects. This included coordinating with multiple consultants on a daily basis, writing and submitted project proposals and PO requests, and preparing/reviewing zoning and construction documents in AutoCAD.

In this position I drafted zoning and construction drawings in AutoCAD, Worked closely with project managers and project architects, and produced Photoshop renderings.

I studied architecture at the Eugene campus with an emphasis on sustainable design practices. Toward the end of my studies I added a double major in material and product studies (product design) and completed my final year of study at the satellite campus in Portland, OR.
