"These awards are given by departments in recognition of distinguished undergraduate work. The Departmental Citation Plan was initiated in 1955 by the Committee on Prizes with the approval and support of the Chancellor. It is open to all departments wishing to participate."

Raymond Watson Best Project Prize, Award
The Watson Prize honors excellent work by students in the ED (Environmental Design) 11A/B series. I received the award for my final project in ED 11A in the fall of 2013. It was awarded by the GSI and the instructor, Darell Fields.
Environmental Design 11A is an introductory design course. The class focuses on theories of representation and the use of visual means. Some topics covered are contour, scale, perspective, color, tone, texture, and design.
