My name is Michael Billings, and I am a man to hire. 

I have had a very eventful life. All my 26 years have been jam packed with exiting stories and events that have shaped me into the professional, tenacious, well-rounded individual I am today. 

From humble beginnings in a small town, I first joined the Marines right out of high school. Giving blood sweat and tears I gave every ounce of loyalty I had to give, and the experience taught me resourcefulness in sudden situations, well timed executions, and a mind that can both think small or big. Mental toughness and perseverance are no strangers to me as 

well. I was discharged early with an honorable discharge and a letter of appreciation. 

After my transitional phase in which I found my footing in the world I decided that I had a passion to reenter the 

educational system, and started first in the field of acting. This was a passion for me, however I was using it as an enticing educational degree while I received my units I needed to transfer to a larger college, which not only helped to motivate me, but also played a vital role in my artistic expression and creative skill sets that set me up for my next program. Receiving my Associates degree was a milestone accomplishment and transitioned me into my Bachelors program at The Art 

Institute of Sacramento. With the help of my veteran’s benefits I have been able to focus and work hard on my education, and graduated with my Bachelors in Interior Design earlier this year, with a high GPA.

I have a great amount to offer a company and am passionate about finding a good match and a place I will feel valued.
