I am Zhehui Chang, a junior architect just graduated from GSAPP, Columbia University. While at Columbia, I received the William Ware Prize for Excellence in Design from GSAPP at the graduation commencement this May, and was given the opportunity to work as an Advanced Architecture Design Studio teaching assistant in GSAPP. As a studio TA I participated in all studio discussions, which equipped me with the skill of communicating design ideas and guidance. In addition to the knowledge I’ve obtained from my education, my experience as architecture intern in Standardarchitecture/ZAO in Beijing and TP Studio in Nanjing has provided me the ability to manage projects from the initial design stage to completion. I have worked on a variety of projects including, exhibition space, commercial, residential, educational spaces, as well as architecture design for Beijing International Design Week. My enclosed resume and portfolio clearly show my professional background, my knowledge and talent of concept and schematic design, as well as my ability to utilize the necessary skills.
