About 

I have 7 years of marketing and media communications experience, a B.A. in Visual Media / Communications and the ability to be a task juggler, mind reader, creative whiz kid, and all around get-it-done kind of guy.  Through my work experience, I’ve developed a wide-range of marketing skills, as well as the ability to write, speak, listen, be creative, and adapt to all situations and jobs given to me. I know what it means to work as a team and I also know how to be self-motivated, self-driven and self-reliant.

 

As a member of The National Geographic Channel’s Media Strategy Group, I functioned as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. I often served as a liaison to other teams throughout the organization to assist in launching new and innovative sales and marketing campaigns. I was the primary contact for outside creative vendors and media clients, managing all creative expectations and deadlines.  As the main liaison between production and creative teams both internally and nationally, I managed all the on-air marketing elements for each marketing campaign.  Working with both the creative and marketing teams allowed me to gain knowledge on how to create an inventive and effective campaign while staying on budget. This permitted me to learn how to not only get a message across but to do so effectively.

 

Working as an associate for Washington Fine Properties, I’ve developed valuable skills in marketing and business as well.  It’s my job to interact daily with clients, agents, and brokers to ensure that purchases run smoothly and that all parties are kept “in the loop”. Furthermore, I also manage the creative and marketing materials for all of our real estate listings including email blasts, brochures and mass mailing campaigns. With my time spent working for the National Geographic Channel as well as in luxury real estate, I have developed a well-rounded skill set in marketing, business, and creativity.  

 

I’m energetic, enthusiastic and always willing to take on new challenges and brainstorm new ideas for advancing marketing and media exposure. I’m an effective communicator whether writing a simple email, composing a detailed marketing plan or presenting comprehensive data analysis. I can write press releases as well as develop, edit, and target press kits to maximize exposure on multiple platforms including social media.

 

Through my extensive experience with PowerPoint / Keynote, Media Atlas, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Apple Office. I have gained an understanding of how the creative and marketing processes work in concert. I’m fluent and adept at social media utilization and web-based marketing and exposure techniques as they pertain to individual client needs.
