I am a recent graduate with a Master of Architecture. I have a background in art and architectural history. I am an avid traveler, and I have used travel to further my knowledge and education in the related fields of architecture, art, landscape, and urban design. Of particular interest to me is the intersection between the built environment and the landscape. Areas of specialty within my education include American vernacular architecture and 16th, 17th, and 18th century Italian and French architecture and landscape design. I see design as an holistic process that takes into account a process that starts at the macro level and moves into the micro level details--from urbanist and landscape considerations down to the layering of spatial relationships to the molding profiles of a fireplace.
