Hongyi is currently seeking full-time entry-level architectural designer position.
Her passion lies in the inter-disciplinary nature of architectural design practice. Having attained the professional B.Arch degree, Hongyi has working experience in various cultural backgrounds, including Tokyo, Shanghai, and New York. She seeks global opportunities at the early stage of her career. The scale of the projects she's participated consists of institutional, residential, urban, and mixed-use tower. She has experience in Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents phases.
Hongyi's interested in pushing the boundary of architectural design to engage in social issues, technology evolution and cultural climate. Seeing architecture closely related to the society and the public at large, she's eager to explore the identity of architect in various realm and relationships.

• Assist in construction drawings, digital 3D modeling and concept model making during CD phase for an urban park in Queens, NY.
• Collaborated with the project leader on a student center project analyzing space utilization for a university client, and produced proposals for RFPs, and a final design design report
• Create and compile submission packages for award applications, including design portfolios, copyright forms, online application, written documents and letters.
• Manage deliverable materials for monthly design meetings

• Completed an independent research on super-tall buildings around the world and created a report booklet to be used as reference.
• Produced a 1/4”=1’0” large detailed physical model to visualize interior space planning and materiality
• Assisted in drawings and editing for design report booklets.
• Assisted in material testing and choosing for interior design.
• Coordinated with various outside material providers to perform material testing for the interior design, and complied a presentation on the material selection
