I am part of a team responsible for the design conceptualization and development including the interior architecture of various commercial, mixed-use commercial-residential, high-rise residential projects within Hong Kong and the surrounding region. I coordinate and liaise with the project team and different design engineer consultants for project deliverables. I was able to manage and complete high profile projects most notably a 98,000 sq.m. retail mall, two office towers totalling 176,300 sq.m. in floor area, a 30 storey interior office renovation and several design concepts and proposals. These projects were located in China and Hong Kong.

Projects commissioned were single detached residential houses, high-rise mixed-use commercial residential tower, commercial structures, institutional buildings and master plan concepts. Also part of my responsibilities was to coordinate with various design consultants, local government agencies, occasional site inspections, bid evaluations, client presentations and sourcing out of materials and construction techniques. Under my watch, the team was able to complete four high-end residences and the successful acquisition of a high-rise mixed-use commercial residential tower.

As part of my responsibilities, we prepared design concepts, presentations, documentations and relevant paper works such as cost estimates and project schedules. I also met up with clients for presentations or provided them with updates on the project’s status.

I was in charge of the day-to-day operations on site. I also managed a group of skilled and non-skilled workers for a construction projection. I made sure that everything was in accordance to schedule and to address all other pertinent matters. Part of my responsibilities also was to liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and other design engineers.
During my stay with HSI, I was able to deliver successfully (design and construction) six new single detached houses and major renovation works of houses and condominium units.
