I am an architectural designer with 8 years of architectural design experience. I am seeking a full time, architectural designer position. I hold a master’s degree in architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture from Rhode Island School of Design. I am currently in the process of interviewing with other offices. 

My experiences have been 2/3 in the architectural design and 1/3 in marketing & business development. 

-At Gensler, I was part of a focused hospitality team involved in projects from Conceptual design through design development. I’ve engaged in team work on large scale projects and learned the concept of architectural branding.

-At IBI Group, I gained exposure most aspects of architecture as a professional practice. I had to multi-task, joggling between tasks: from construction document of a new middle school, to FF&E package of a county library, and to an proposal of a RFQ.

-At Clerkin & Clerkin Architects, where higher education is its majority of the work, I was able to sharpen my detailing (CD) skills; hands on BIM experience; and seeking project approval from DSA and/or building department. I was also in charge of company’s business development effort.

My desire is to continue grow professionally: 

-Continue to sharpen my technical knowledge/skills ; 

-Continue to gain proficiency in BIM work environment; 

-Continue to acquire knowledge in becoming a Project Manager/Architect;

-Complete personal architectural licensure;

Lastly, I am always looking forward to any new challenges and enjoy expanding my knowledge.
