Assist and Guide the Project Managers in the Negotiation of the Contracts, the Design of the Facilities and the Construction of the Facilities for Miami Dade College. Miami Dade College is a state college located in Miami, Florida. Miami Dade has eight campuses and twenty-one outreach centers located throughout Miami-Dade County. Contractor’s Principal Architect & Design Coordinator for Project 422 of the Design Build Contract for the new King Abdul Aziz International Airport Project. Project 422 consists of all works with the exception of the Passenger Terminal Building at the largest airport site in the world in terms of site area.. The project includes Multi Storey Car Park, Train Station, 4 Load Centers, Transportation Center, Runway and Taxiways, 14 Kilometers of bridges, 18 Kilometers of Roads, 14 Kilometers of Utility Tunnels, Site Drainage and all Utilities.

Initially managed the Transportation & Aviation Group at ZFP consisting of ten disciplines with over 200 Engineers and Architects . Concurrently assisted as Senior Technical Advisor for the King Abdul Aziz International Airport project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and various other transportation and aviation projects. Promoted to Director of Transportation & Aviation and then to Technical & Design Manager for Architecture and Engineering for the newly combined departments at ZFP consisting of over 800 Engineers and Architects. Managed staff in offices in Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah and in Cairo, Egypt.

2000 – 2002 Design Manager NTD at Miami International Airport
Responsible for the identification and development of the value engineering effort which resulted in the redesign of the structure from concrete encased steel structure to reinforced concrete at a savings of $16,000,000. Coordinated the design efforts of four major projects (A-B Infill, B-C Infill C-D Infill and D Extension).
2002 to 2005 Senior Resident Engineer and Technical Manager for the A-B Infill Project. Responsibilities included developing the schedule and managing the contractors for the A-B Infill a multi phased terminal demolition and expansion project with a budget of $350,000,000.

Concurrently manage the new Wolfson Building 7000 (11 stories 900,000 s.f. parking garage at a construction cost $30,000,000.00), and the new InterAmerican Campus Project (construction cost $19,000,000.00) as well a numerous other smaller projects (construction cost $8,000,000.00). Recipient of President’s Staff Excellence Award in 2000.
