I am in my 4th year of Architecture school at Cal Poly Pomona and will be graduating in spring of 2017. For the past two summers I interned at DLR Group in Pasadena, which allowed me to interact with professionals, and exposed me to real business scenarios. It was fulfilling to put my skills to practical use, which I am eager to continue doing this summer.
My passion for architecture has flourished over the years and reflects in my work, I find combining beauty with utility to be challenging and when achieved very gratifying. My dedication has pushed me to be diligent, efficient, and determined. I am proficient in several useful software like Rhinoceros, Adobe Suite, Sketch Up, Auto Cad, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
My interest in the profession has also motivated me to serve as a member on the board for the College of Environmental Design during the past two years. Being the Director of Public Relations has taught me to collaborate, inspire creativity, encourage participation, and meet multidirectional responsibilities. Moving forward with my chosen field I wish to utilize the knowledge and skills I have acquired through my academics, experiences, peers, and mentors.
