I am a recent BArch graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. An interest of mine is the artistic side of architecture, and I graduated with a minor in Studio Arts. I like to explore the relationship between art and architecture and am looking for a firm to work for that is exploring this same relationship. My thesis looked into art and architecture and the culture driving the two fields, as well as how to use new technologies to create an architecture to indulge the artists and spur their creativity. You can see a little more on my thesis project is in the work samples that are attached. I feel that art has a place in architecture, and that through the creative process of art, my designing of architecture has been taken to a new level, both aesthetically and functionally.

Worked in Revit Architecture to build models for a renovation project and researched sustainable building practices and renovation, gathering valuable information for ongoing projects.

Put together LEED® Project Profiles for the chapter, working in collaboration with architects, design team members, project owners and facilities directors to gather information while learning about green building and rating systems both in the office and touring buildings at various stages of construction.

At Rensselaer, I studied in the five year architecture program. Minoring in studio arts, I took many hands on classes involving sculpture and drawing, and took an art history class. My architecture classes included a design development studio, multiple competitions, green building classes, construction and material classes, and much more. My thesis was on the interaction of art and architecture, cultural influences, and a communication between the past, present, and future within a structure.
