I am currently a second year candidate in master of architecture professional program at University of Pennsylvania. While I have a comprehensive architectural background, I am interested in urban research and parametric architectural design. I am good at 3D and parametric modeling, visualization and 2D post-production presentation techniques, addressing current architectural design and urban issues. As requested I have enclosed my resume which will give you a further detail of my educational background.
I previously work as an architectural summer intern at RSAA, an international architecture and urban design studio. The three-month internship program includes detail 2D drawing, digital modeling and rendering techniques training and practice. While there, I made use of Rhino modeling tools to develop conceptual model of new office, RSAA Beijing. And assisting project designer to do a variety of interior and exterior renderings for multi-level retail space. Meanwhile, I used AutoCAD to adjust a series of detail construction drawings such as residential floor plans and detail stair drawings. Through the summer internship, I not only have gained the necessary skills as a future architect, but well known how to start and support a project from the ground up, including teamwork, leadership and communication.
If there is any questions, I am looking forward to discussing with you about it. You can contact me by email at lijin8@design.upenn.edu or by phone (315)-440-9182.
