Being from the town of Dehradun in foothills of Himalayas, I had been working with natural building materials all my life. I always had an interest in building with what is available in nature. Studying Architecture helped me in understanding buildings more into details. In my past nine years of experience I have worked in various projects which provided me a vast scope of learning. I worked with Bamboo, mud, lime surkhi, cement concrete and much more materials that presented variety of exposure with construction materials. I also had been working with various conservation and restoration along with Indian Government.

Currently I am working on a project that involves first sustainable Hill Down Development in India. The Project is masterplan development for Kedarnath and Badrinath. The two are considered as one of the most important religious shrines for Hinduism and are located n middle Himalayas at a height of 12000 feet plus form see level. There are many challenges with the project regarding to development strategies at these locations.

Geeli Mitti is an non profitable organization that works for Natural Buildings and awareness regarding the sustainable building approach. I had been working as an architect at Geeli Mitti for the development of projects that organization has taken up. During my tenure I had been building bamboo geodesic domes and also Natural homes with various building techniques. ( Cob, Earth Bag, Wattle and dob, Rammed earth) and much more. We had been doing projects all across India.
