About

I've been living in NYC for 7-8 years now and moved here to pursue architecture. It has been an up and down challenge but I've enjoyed all the hard work. I'm very close to my friends and family and try to spend as much time with them as possible. I also enjoy theater shows.

Employment

Campbell Young Associates, Project Manager/Drafter

As the project manager/drafter, I worked with the contractors during all phases of the work studio/apartment renovation. Working with a limited budget, I made sure that some or all of the cabinets, doors and framework could be re-utilized in the new construction. Once the demolition was complete, I worked with the clients making final decisions on the design and choosing materials. This has lead to enhancing my client relation, project management and developing my Revit skills

Jul 2010 - Oct 2010

SuperStructures Engineers + Architects, AutoCAD Draftsman

As a draftsman, I initially worked with engineers to produce detailed drawings for submissions and bid sets. After a month I was placed in charge of inspecting New York City Housing Authority Developments that required training for scaffold inspections. Once the training was completed, I produced the key and site plans for each development that would be used by NYCHA, the contractors and for inspections. Between inspections I continued drafting for the engineers in my studio along with making site visitations on other projects. This has lead to developing my client relation and project management skills.

Architecture Studio, AutoCAD Draftsman

As a draftsman, I assisted the president of the company, William Gati, with drawings and sketches for single family renovations & additions. Some of my tasks included, modifying drawings, initializing new sets and job pick-ups from the building department. In addition, I often made on site visitations to take measurements, photographs and meet with clients. This lead to the development of my AutoCAD skills.
