My name is Markus Hongmanivanh and I am currently in my last semester of my thesis program in the School of Architecture at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. I am goal oriented and have the urge to learn new skills. Many of my studio projects were group projects and that entailed a great amount of appreciation of patience and a better understanding of organization and time management. My passion is in residential housing and have an abundance of knowledge and desire of designing a place for users to enjoy a well designed home. Currently for my thesis project, I wanted to challenge myself and learn and design something dissimilar from residential design. I am centering my thesis on The Future of Workplace Design with a deeper focus on how flexibility of rooms can introduce comfortability, a choice of how workers want to work, and the ability to shape-shift into another type of work space.
