Originally from The San Francisco Bay area, I have long been intrigued the built environments ability to alter our behavior and connect strangers through compelling design.
In seeking of my B.Arch, I attended California College of the Arts in San Francisco to pursue a design education while being surrounded by every form of creativity possible. I worked closely with renowned designers and took every opportunity to participate in protects and events outside of the typical studio. Interning my final semester with envelopeA+D I graduated with honors and numerous awards.
My internship at eAD developed into a full-time position where I quickly became project manager of several projects in different phases. I took over a high end residential project soon after we completed schematic design and lead the project through construction administration. I have also worked on TI work for YouTube, Housing projects, interim use and international competitions. I gained a well rounded base in architecture at eAD for which i’m grateful as it only helps guide me on my path in architecture.
2016 started a new chapter after joining my partner in Illinois while she pursue her PhD at UIUC I’m taking advantage of the new scenery in one of my favorite cites. While new surroundings old hobby’s remain. My closet will remain full of fermenting home brew and I’m trying to figure out how to train for the Chicago Marathon when its below 0. While things may be changing, I’m still perusing my license while studying for the ARE and narrowing my focus as I go.
