Mr. Wouters is an architect with experience in several building types including apartment buildings, institutional projects, and commercial projects. He has also directed and managed large-scale multiple building planning projects for urban infill sites, city center revitalization projects, and affordable housing projects. Architectural projects include The Park Triangle mixed-use apartment building, The Tulane University School of Law, The Bay Meadows Apartment Building, The H+H Metropolitan Hospital Resiliency Plan in East Harlem, The Windmark Beach apartment buildings, The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Renovation, The Coney Island Resiliency Master Plan for NYCHA, The Kennedy Center Concert Hall, and The Brooklyn Navy Yard Resiliency Plan. As a highly experienced project manager he led the 3 million square foot mixed-use San Ramon City Center through the entitlement process. He previously served as partner at Cooper Robertson & Partners (CRP) and as planner of Stantec’s New York City Urban Planning Studio. Projects with Mr. Wouters have received AIA, CNU, and ULI Awards. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia, and is a licensed architect in New York and Washington, DC. He was a task force member of the US Green Building Council’s LEED® for Neighborhood Development program.
