I am trained as an Architect Planner specializing in EIAs. I am now involved in channelizing the professional experience gained from more than 35 years of professional experience to create & nurture an institution that will earn the status of a center of excellence for academic & research activities, apart from providing consultancy & advocacy services in creating Built Environments that are responsive to the present day needs of sustainability. It is a challenging task to be in a position to make difference by grooming young professionals who can spearhead the age-old dictum of ' Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' (From ancient Upanishads to mean earth as a family, similar to the ancient African concepts, like Ubuntu which means humanity to others). There can be no better place to achieve this objective than to be in an Academia for Built Environment study & research which identifies with the cause.
