KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES
Growing up I played a lot of rugby both for the University Rugby team and for a local Rugby Club. I also enjoy football and regularly either attend matches, or watch the matches in a social environment. I now train in mixed martial arts, particularly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I generally maintain my fitness through membership of a local health club and my training. During the summer months I am keen on a lot of outdoor activities, including golf, biking and water sports which involve anything from windsurfing, sailing, wakeboarding, power boats and jet skiing.
I enjoy going away with both my friends and family and experiencing the different cultures the world has to offer. I would like the opportunity to travel or work abroad if this was ever possible.
In general I am a very confident and outgoing individual. I rarely let situations, people or troubles faze me. I find that I am at my best when I am being challenged both in life and work. I feel that pressure brings out the best in me and my own desire to succeed in life means that there is not much I won’t take on and give my all too.
I feel that I have above average work experience for my age (28 years old), but I still wish to experience and learn a lot more. I genuinely enjoy learning, especially if I have no real knowledge of the subject or situation. I believe that life is for living and am prepared to give my all, so that in years to come I can only look back with a smile on my face.
Away from my normal professional construction life I have also helped in the purchase of a property in the Balearic Islands to turn in to a night club. This involved everything from initial survey of the proposed building, to budgets, construction (cost reports, construction programme and delivery), opening, marketing and then the continued business development. Although no longer involved I believe this shows my ability to adapt and adjust my skills to undertake various business opportunities.
