I am currently a graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a double minor in Art History and History. I am also currently attending The School of the Art Institute of Chicago for my Masters of Architecture. In the past four years UIC has given me the skills to work with a variety of materials at many different scales as well as teaching me to draw architecturally by hand and digitally. I am passionate about creating interesting spaces for people to interact with efficiently while enhancing my education and skills to achieve excellence. I have had many jobs while attending school including model making, Project manager at Thatcher Oaks, and now my most recent job as a permit/project coordinator at Construction Cad Solutions.

I manage a team of 3-4 people that will draw site plans for the installation of fiber optic cables. I have to figure out the fastest and cheapest path for the fiber optic cable to run. This process involves drawing a site plan and plotting out all of the power poles that I may potentially use and I will figure out the path of the fiber optic cable weather the path consists of attaching to the power poles or going underground through directional boring. After the drawing is completed, I then submit for ROW permits to city, county, or state in order to complete the construction process. I learned how to manage my own projects and team. Develop a great relationships with clients daily. I developed great problem solving skills in a fast pace environment.

I survey buildings for awnings and canopies. Intense measuring using lasers to measure topography. I also managed workers under me, for example, I managed a team of welders and installers to guarantee that the awning was made and installed correctly. Very knowledgeable about designing and planning when emergencies occur. I worked very well with a team of people and communicated information to them.

I managed and built architectural models from start to finish. I know the process of creating a model and the system required to start and complete a project. I learned to become a very efficient problem solver within the process. I learned how to work well with other people and the client on a day-to-day basis. I know how to communicate information well to people on my team or the client. I analyzed and dissected drawings and models to figure out how to finish my project.
