The position I held as Project Coordinator was to orchestrate projects through all phases of design while communicating with all the various other parties what was changing, and what needed to be done and etc. I took part in various large scale designs and competitions both state side and throughout the world (i.e Cambodia, China, Korea, The Netherlands, Russia, and Vietnam).

I was a student who helped other students and teachers to better utilize the various labs within the Herberger Institute. The school has a wide range of labs to utilize and work in, ranging from the wood shop, to print labs, and fabrication labs. I was able to acquire a wide range of skills as well as a thorough working knowledge of many of the programs, tools and techniques needed to run the labs.

This program was strongly based in current design para-dimes. The program had a thorough mix of team and solo studio projects which overlapped to create a more realistic professional world feel. The program is also starting to embrace current design and fabrication methods, many of which I helped implement while working in the print and fabrication labs.

I studied architecture and design at this school. It ranged from hand drafting to Cad with a programmatic mix of projects ranging from small single building design to large scale urban design. I also acquired a minor in Archaeology and Linguistics while studying here.

Awards 

X-Square Design Competition Winner, 1st Place

X-Square is a student competition held every year in the Herberger Institute for Design and The Arts in which students compete to design and build a full scale pavilion which will stand for a year and within a certain budget. The competition is only open to design excellence winners of previous and current studios within the multiple schools in the Institute.
