Tim Nichols, AIA, LEED has studied and practiced architecture in Atlanta, Albuquerque, Chicago, Starkville and New York City. After undergraduate school at Mississippi State University where he studied under a great faculty including Michael Fazio, Chris Risher and Sambo Mockbee, Tim worked for AIA Gold medal winner Antoine Predock. In 2000, he earned a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in New York. He has designed restaurants in Atlanta, high-rises in Chicago, and from 2000-2007, he was Design Director of Interiors with HOK. While there he led the design of award-winning Institutional and Corporate projects around the world. Currently, Tim is working on projects at NO Architecture and is an Assistant Professor at the Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University where he teaches design and theory in Interior Design.
In 2011 he founded 489 Edgewood, a workplace co-op located in Atlanta, GA.
