Having spent a substantial amount of his life relishing in cautious optimism, Jawwad took a leap and decided to go to graduate school. He recently attained a Master of Architecture from Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

Prior to his big move to Michigan, Jawwad was ingrained at the other end of the academic spectrum, teaching design studio and history courses at the Beaconhouse National University - School of Architecture in Lahore, Pakistan. The experience provided a consistent outlet for addressing his concerns of grounding contemporary design practices towards addressing issues regarding social welfare and pluralism in the context of a developing country like Pakistan. Parallel to his academic activities, Jawwad alongside a friend, launched a design firm that arose out of the motivation to practice what he preached.

His stunning disdain for Justin Bieber and other assorted teenie boppers notwithstanding, Jawwad possess an impeccably curated collection of comic books & graphic novels, and a perplexing affinity for 80s and 90s pop trivia. He will one day fulfill his quest for the perfect sandwich.
