I graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from GSAPP, Columbia University in 2015. Prior to pursuing architecture, I earned a BFA in Film and Television with a double major in Architecture and Urban Design Studies at Tisch, New York University.
Soon after graduation, I worked at Fogarty Finger Architecture in New York City. Projects I've worked on include several multi-family residential buildings, cooperate office gut renovations and commercial lobby/storefront projects.
I am currently working on several freelance projects independently, including a duplex apartment gut renovation in Brooklyn, NY.
Part Welsh and part Chinese, I grew up multi-lingual in Hong Kong and spent extended periods in London. By the age of 10, I have traveled across 6 continents. I thus grew up with a fascination for diverse cultures and a natural love of people. I understand architecture as the critical tool that shapes memories and identities and, consequently, defines society and culture.
I believe architecture is an inherently optimistic discipline and strive to utilize it as a healing tool for the individual and the collective. I am passionate about creating tactile, meditative architecture that is driven by user experience, social-cultural awareness and the refinement of craft.
