I am a positive and ambitious Architecture admirer. Architecture has long been an area of fascination for me. I love to think critically, solve problems, and design unique solutions.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Ithaca College in 2014. I plan on one day going back to school to earn my Master’s degree in architecture and test for a license, but for now I have aspirations for experience in the field. I’m originally from a small town in New York, but am looking to move toward your area. This past summer I worked at a small Architecture firm in Corning, New York where I saw, first-hand, the interaction between client and architect. Under the architect I visited sites, designed additions, created construction documents, and saw the early constructions of projects I worked on. The experience has helped me realize how well I can visualize a three dimensional space and convey it to others, as well as understand another person’s design, whether it be described in words, or planned on paper. I am fluent in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong in many other digital design softwares. I believe that this, combined with my ability to learn quickly and enthusiasm for doing so, makes me a highly capable candidate for the position you have described.
