Manage the Detailing Department in which we produce fabrication drawings of tensioned fabric exhibit structures, using Vectorworks for 2D and 3D CAD. Maintain efficiency and workflow among the team to meet ongoing deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. Initiate and participate in design discussions to collaborate on the frame and fabric solutions per custom project. Maintain information resources specific to our department for quick and relevant data retrieval to facilitate problem-solving in frame design. Assign and review drawings and ensure the quality of our work is accurate, concise, consistent, and thorough. Coordinate with project managers and production managers to ensure flow of project information to and from our department to clients and production.
